‘Provincial Eatery’

Posted on

I was pretty amazed with this restaurant that I saw in Palawan.

I was really hungry that time and people were much busy with the fight of Pacquaio and Marquez (They were crowding this house nearby with its own pay per view cable thing). I saw this eatery which is in fact an extension of the owner’s house. But before you enter, you have to take off your slippers or shoes!

Nice curtains ha.. hehe. :)

The ambiance is nice, ‘homey’ I would say. The floors are well scrubbed and clean. The food is delicious, not quite expensive.

It feels “homey.”

There’s just one thing I was not able to do. I FORGOT to write down its name! Hahaha. :D I will remember it next time, because I’ll be going back. Lesson learned. >_<

Barefooted. (Hey, I belong! :D )

I just find that experience nice. Have a good day! :)

Let’s Watch “Venue Rental”

Posted on

I was at Festival Supermall Alabang, and I wanted to watch a movie. I looked at the movie schedules.

"What to watch.. what to watch..."

And then I said, “Hey, what’s this ‘Venue Rental’? And I actually walked to look for the poster..

Halfway, I realized that “It’s rented!”

“Ah…Venue rental! ‘Kala ko, movie yun, hehe.”

Venue Rental, "bakit walang poster?"

:)

‘PRC Lomi Hauz’

Posted on

Hello friends! It’s been a while. I was really busy with a lot of things and I wasn’t able to blog. It’s really hard to write without any motivation! >_<

Anyway, I hope I can get back on track. To start with…

I went to a conference at Puerto Galera last weekend. I was with my friends and we walked outside the venue to eat and look for some snacks. We came across this small “lomi carinderia.” We got in and ordered their special lomi.

As we waited, you’ll feel relaxed as you can see the view of the sea.

While waiting for the order, I stared at the calm sea..

And after several minutes, the lomi has been served.

I'll tell you, this is delicious. :)

Their special order of Lomi. (We also ordered buns.)

It tastes real good. For only an affordable price of P80 for the large order (we ordered only one but we were three), you’ll be satisfied with it.

If you happen to stay at Puerto Nirvana in Puerto Galera, PRC Lomi Haus is just a few steps away (I guess their cook is ‘licensed’ aheehee :) ). If you’re the type of person who is “not maarte,” you can try this place out.

Who wants lomi now? :)

Girl Bonding at Star City

Posted on

It was a holiday. My friend Jhoanne had the idea of going to Star City. (I thought she was just kiddin’!)

I thought we’ll just stroll in the mall or buy something, but she’s one serious lady.

When we arrived at Manila, it was 12 noon and the place doesn’t open until 2 p.m. So we strolled for a while, bought coffee at Starbucks and ate at Yellow Cab. Wow! (Sosyalin kunwari.. >_<)

A nice seaside view with matching delicious coffee.. :)

Yellow Cab pizza and an order of Charlie Chan pasta.. :D Hmm.. Delicious!

After eating, we went to the wash room. I used the faucet but it was not working. Of course, I wouldn’t expect that place without a faucet not functioning. Then I saw this handle below the sink, and we saw a sign right in front of us that we didn’t notice at first.

I didn't see this one! (Nanunuklaw ka ha??)

AHHH.. So that's how it works! >_<

Well, after that serious incident, we walked to Star City and bought tickets. I had been to Star City once, when it was far from what it looks like now. Now, it looks like a mall and you can go there even if it’s raining.

Ride all we can!

Jho told me that we’re going to walk a lot and I was wearing my heeled-sandals. So I bought a pair of slippers. There were lots of nice stores there. I mean, they had a lot to offer! Slippers, souvenirs, stuffed toys, key chains, dresses.. they’re colorful!

I bought a pair of slippers.

When she saw this ride Viking, she hurriedly asked me to ride it. It was like the Anchor’s Away of Enchanted Kingdom. Anyway, I sat at the middle. >_<  She pulled me and said we should sit at the end row.

My golly! I’m not used to riding and deciding right away. I’m not prepared! haha!

Anyway, after that, I was able to get into more complicated rides. Thanks to the Viking warm up.

It's not my first time..! hehe

We tried this ride, it hurt my neck!

At Snow World. We were just wearing shorts and slippers. It's darn cold!

I was looking at the Star Flyer here. I thought I can't ride it, but I did!

At Pirate Adventure. They had interesting exhibit inside, but I felt dizzy after because of the rotating boat.

And we bought these Minnie Mouse headbands. Aren't we cute?

I had a great time that day. I was happy that the weather was with us. Thanks Jho for the happy experience. (And for the pics too, you see I had no camera that day.)  Thank God for a wonderful day. ♥

Saturday ‘Girl Gala’

Posted on

It’s another Saturday! And of course, because I was loaded with lots of work on weekdays, Saturdays are allotted for my strolling.

This time, I was with my pretty friend Mitch. After lunch at Mc Donald’s, we rode a jeepney going to SM. And when we rode the jeepney, we laughed because of the color of its seats!

Mitch resembles with the seats of the jeepney, Pak! :D

I am really glad that I always have my camera with me to capture these funny encounters. :)

We went to Wow Salon to have our nails done. Hers were so cute because a silver nail polish was used and it was decorated with french tips. I said “I want to have those too!” But I think I my polish choice was that chosen by elders. I hated it. It seemed like Mitch’s choice of polish worked for teenagers. (Well, I could have had one too, you know!)

We had our nails done, mine included the pedi. Love our french tips. :)

And of course, the day won’t be complete with neither of us strolling the mall. I looked for shoes and tried one on, I forgot that the polish was still freshly done. Hmmp! And we also looked for dresses and stuff. I tried on a pair of jeans, and what? It didn’t fit! Mitch said it’s “hipster” jeans.

And finally, we watched a girlie choice movie which is “Wedding Tayo Wedding Hindi” with popcorn, hotdog sandwich and doughnuts. We had a good laugh.

This is the movie we watched. :)

I didn’t quite like the story. But I like the performance of Toni Gonzaga. She rocked me. And because of that, I was able to laugh ‘naman’. I would always say “Mukhang ewan lang eh!” Ahehe. :)

Mitch and Zen after the "girls' day out" :)

After that, I didn’t go home yet. I still went to my friends mini “reunion.”

I enjoyed the girlie day. For sure girls out there had fun girlie days as well. Let’s just enjoy. ♥

Starbucks Evening

Posted on

It was my third time to drink delicious coffee at Starbucks.

Out of nowhere, we just decided to go there and have a simple chat, and of course, to laugh our hearts out.

I ordered this Java “something” coffee. I can’t remember the name. And it is expensive! (For a cup of coffee? Yes, it is! )

However, the ambiance of the place is just perfect for those who want to relax and just unwind after a day’s work.

We had a good laugh, and you’ll forget the expensive price that you have paid for. (Yeah, I forgot that P175 I paid!) hehe :D

Starbucks near the Caltex Station SLEX

I am ordering..

Me at the counter. I have already bought a java choco.. :)

Mam Bing and Sir Mhon :D

Ryan, Gucci and Me.. :D

This is what I ordered..

Me sipping the choco Java, is that what it's called?

Getting ready to go home..

I enjoyed the late evening at Starbucks.
